I'm baaaaack

So I'm sure all of my readers (all 2 of you) have noticed I haven't blogged in forever. It's not that I'm just super busy, more that I'm just lazy :-).

Our trip to see the fam was excellente'. Everyone is doing well :-) Aside from the humidity, it was an enjoyable trip. The day we drove in from Dallas I threw my friend a wedding shower. I was pretty stressed about it since I had never thrown one before, but it was all good.

The week after that we went to Cancun for the wedding! WooHoo! That was really awesome. I was really nervous about the baby on the plane. We flew to Denver & then it was a five hour flight from there. But he did really well. Everyone commented on how good he was :-) Thank ya Lord! I thought it was muggy in TX...HA!!! As soon as we got off the plane my hair was a huge frizz ball & my make-up had melted off. Even the little guy was pretty dewy! We stayed at the most awesome resort- Moon Palace Resort & Spa. It was all inclusive so we got a bracelet put on & that was our ticket to everything. All the food was included, drinks, trips to the ruins, wet & wild- there was a ton of stuff to do. The first day we just wandered around the joint, swam, ate & were very merry :-) The sun is sooooo strong down there!! Everyone burned except the baby (once again thank ya Lord!) And fyi water babies sunscreen doesn't work very well for adults. The next day we went to wet & wild. Woohoo :-) We stayed in the lazy river for an hour so the babe could take a nap on us lol.

Then Sat. was the wedding. It was AMAZING!! My friend looked gorgeous!! The whole wedding just seemed so surreal. It was so perfect outside with the ocean & everything. (Aside from the sweltering heat: she got married at 1) They do weddings differently down there, but it was neat. The bride & groom did all the legal stuff 1st & then the witnesses signed everything. Then they exchanged vows & then right there on the beach they cut the cake & everyone had champagne. Was pretty cool. I guess they do the cake cutting there because she had the reception at 6 so that way they wouldn't have to go to it to take pix. If anyone needs an awesome place to get married, Cancun is definitely one of the front runners!

Sunday we went into downtown Cancun. They are some crazy drivers down there! Lines mean nothing! It was cool, we went to the Hardrock Cafe (it's our thing, we want to go to them all. Hubby gets a shot glass & I get a shirt) Went to senor frogs to get a shirt. Then went to a really cool outdoor mall. It's neat because if you stay at one of the palace resorts your bracelet gets you into all their other resorts too. So we checked out another one too :-)
All in all it was an awesome vacation!

So we got back & had to participate in real life again. It was hard to get back in the groove. I was in a really missing paradise funk for a week or so lol.

Last week Nay had to go to training for his job (yet again) So I went to Roswell to hang out with some of my fam. It was so good to see them. My little cuz is getting SO big!! He just talks up a storm! It amazes me he is only 17 months! Roswell is SO hot. I think it was 111 one of the days I was there. Here in f-town it's barely been getting into the 90s. It was rough lol.

We are home now :-) Yay! I love going on vacation & visiting people, but I am also SO happy to come home. It really makes me appreciate it.

Little Naybor is getting so big! He cruises around the furniture & has gotten quite speedy at crawling! Usually to something he's not supposed to get into lol. He finally cut his first tooth last month, yay! I thought he would never get one! Now his 2 bottom teeth are almost all the way through. I know, exciting huh? If you are a mom though you know just how cool it is :-) We got his 9 month pix taken yesterday. They are really good. But of course i'm a little biased. I was comparing his 6 month pix to the new ones & I can't believe how much he has changed! He is a very active little guy!

Now, I am going to go makes tacos yum! (I seriously think I could eat them daily & not get sick of em)

So hopefully I will be better about blogging from now on :-)
